Remembering the past, changing the present.
Anne Frank - A History for Today - exhibition tours in
Finland during this year: in addition to Helsinki, it will be on display also in Turku, Hämeenlinna, Raahe, Vaasa, Kokkola, Kuopio, Mikkeli, Rovaniemi and Espoo.
The exhibition presents the touching story of Anne Frank against the backdrop of the Second World War, but discusses also the prejudices of our time. It is designed especially for young people, and Finnish youngsters have also been trained to guide their peers through the exhibition.
The exhibition is organised by the
Anne Frank House in Amsterdam together with local partners. The tour of the exhibition in Finland is funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture, the Dutch Embassy, the Israeli Embassy and the transport company DHL Freight.
